Gather & Cite SourcesAfter doing some background reading and focusing your research topic, you are ready to gather sources that are more aligned to your research question. At this point, most teachers require that you take accurate notes and prepare an annotated bibliography. The key to success here is ACCURACY, as you will need to cite source information accurately in your research paper, project, or presentation.
Regardless of the research you are conducting, you are required to cite all sources you use. In fact, anything you paraphrase, quote, or summarize from your sources must be cited accurately. This section will guide you as you prepare the bibliography and take notes. |
